Abstract
Un método y aparato para soportar el control de flujo de datos en una red de malla inalámbrica reportando a un punto de malla (MP) de origen en un trayecto particular la velocidad de transferencia de datos que cada MP en el trayecto puede soportar. El MP de origen envía, sobre el trayecto, un paquete de datos destinado que incluye un campo de identificacion (ID) de flujo y un campo de velocidad de transferencia de datos disponible a un MP de destino. Un paquete de acuse de recibo (ACK) que incluye los mimsos campos se envía en respuesta al paquete de datos. El MP de origen ajusta una velocidad de transferencia de datos de acuerdo con el campo de velocidad de transferencia de datos disponible en el paquete ACK. Alternativamente, puede emplearse un campo de indicacion de congestion en lugar del campo de velocidad de transferencia de datos disponible para indicar que existe congestion en lugar del campo de velocidad de transferencia de datos disponible para indicar que existe congestion en el trayecto. Adicionalmente, puede incluirse en los paquetes de datos y ACK un campo de calidad de servicio (QoS) indicando parámetros QoS para el flujo de datos.
