Abstract

Una estructura para convertir un sistema de direccion manual convencional de un vehículo que transita a campo traviesa en un sistema de direccion automática que utiliza senales remotas. Un motor paso a paso se conecta a través de una transmision por correa o de un accionamiento de cadena a un accionamiento montado sobre el extremo superior de un eje de direccion. El motor paso a paso se conecta a un microprocesador y se mueve con el eje de direccion, tanto en el modo de direccion manual como en el modo de direccion automática. Un codificador emite una senal a un microprocesador que cambia la operacion al modo manual si el numero de pasos informados por el codificador es diferente des esperado. Un conjunto que incluye un volante alternativo, una polea del eje, un accesorio de insercion del adaptador y un motor paso a paso se conecta fácilmente a la columna de direccion. Un motor de accionamiento también puede conectarse directamente al eje de direccion.
