Abstract
Un método para un cambio fluido del canal en una red inalámbrica de área local (WLAN) que tiene una estacion (STA) y un punto de acceso (AP) comienza enviando un mensaje de intencion de cambio de canal desde el AP hacia la STA. Se envía un mensaje de respuesta de cambio de canal desde la STA al AP, que informa al AP si la STA realizará el cambio de canal. El AP determina si procede con el cambio de canal, y realiza el cambio de canal si la determinacion es positiva.
