Abstract

El eje motor (3) selectivamente impulsa uno u otro de los ejes impulsores (1,2) mediante dos embragues (8). El par de pinones que establecen las sucesivas marchas está dispuesto de modo que la potencia sea alternativamente transmitida por un embrague (8), luego por el otro a medida que las relaciones de transmision avancen en secuencia mientras la caja de velocidades sea utilizada. Los dos ejes impulsores (1,2) no son coaxiales y portan pinones de entrada (E3, E4, E5, E6) que engranan con los mismos pinones de salida (S234, S56R). En una version mejorada, uno (1) de los ejes impulsores impulsa un eje intermedio (15) que también impulsa los mismos pinones de salida (S234, S56R) a través de los pinones de entrada (E4, E6) portados por dicho eje impulsor, operando en tal caso como pinones intermedios locos que transfieren el movimiento.
