Abstract
Un aspecto de la presente se refiere a un método para aumentar la temperatura de una sustancia que inicialmente se encuentra en un estado al menos parcialmente solidificado en un recipiente, en donde el recipiente incluye al menos un intercambiador de calor en el recipiente. Un objetivo es lograr que la temperatura de una sustancia puede alterarse relativamente rápida. Esto se logra incluyendo un medio de bombeo para desplazar la sustancia, intercambiando calor entre un intercambiador de calor y la sustancia, desplazando la sustancia con el medio de bombeo para incrementar el intercambio de calor entre el intercambiador de calor y la sustancia, y agitando la sustancia con el medio de bombeo mediante un desplazamiento de la sustancia dentro del recipiente. Cuando la sustancia se desplaza, no solo la sustancia estancada está en contacto con el intercambiador de calor. Por lo tanto, la cantidad de sustancia en contacto con el intercambiador de calor se incrementa significativamente y la transferencia de calor depende en menor grado de la conductividad térmica de la sustancia.
