Abstract

Un dispositivo para la identificacion de una llamada de emergencia en una red inalámbrica de área local incluye un indicador para identificar a una llamada como una llamada de emergencia. El indicador puede ser un indicador binario o un elemento de informacion. El elemento de informacion puede incluir informacion de posicion con respecto a la ubicacion de la estacion que coloco la llamada de emergencia. Esta informacion puede utilizarse para ubicar al emisor de la llamada. La informacion de posicion puede transmitirse desde la estacion a un punto de acceso independientemente de la llamada de emergencia.
