Abstract

Un método para modificar la proliferacion celular en una planta, que comprende el paso de transformar una planta, o el material de propagacion de la planta, con una molécula de ácido nucleico que comprende por lo menos una secuencia reguladora con capacidad para dirigir la expresion dentro de los integumentos y/o la cubierta de la semilla y por lo menos una secuencia de ácido nucleico cuyo producto de la expresion o transcripcion es capaz de modular, directa o indirectamente, la proliferacion celular, por lo cual se modifica la proliferacion celular al expresarse esa secuencia de ácido nucleico. Asimismo una planta que incluye una molécula de ácido nucleico que comprende por lo menos una secuencia reguladora con capacidad para dirigir la expresion dentro de los instrumentos y/o la cubierta de la semilla y por lo menos una secuencia de ácido nucleico cuyo producto de la expresion o transcripcion es capaz de modular, directa o indirectamente, la proliferacion celular, por lo cual se modifica la proliferacion celular al expresarse esa secuencia de ácido nucleico. También material de plantas reproducible que incluye una molécula de ácido nucleico que comprende por lo menos una secuencia reguladora con capacidad para dirigir la expresion dentro de los integumentos y/o la cubierta de la semilla por lo menos una secuencia de ácido nucleico cuyo producto de la expresion o transcripcion es capaz de modular, directa o indirectamente, la proliferacion celular, por lo cual se modifica la proliferacion celular al expresarse esa secuencia de ácido nucleico. De acuerdo con tro aspecto, un método para modificar la proliferacion celular en una planta que comprende el paso de modular la respuesta de la planta a una auxina, en el cual se modifica la proliferacion celular para producir semillas de mayor o menor tamano que el tipo salvaje.
