Abstract

Un método y un aparato para la clasificación de los productos vegetales basados en el dano a los productos vegetales. Un emisor de rayos emite una luz de iluminación hacia la superficie externa de un producto vegetal. Un detector de rayos detecta substancialmente el largo de onda individual de una luz reflejada, producida por el producto vegetal en respuesta a la luz de iluminación. Una unidad de control determinan al menos uno de una presencia, una cantidad, y una severidad de dano en respuesta a la luz reflejada. La unidad de control asigna una categoría de dano al producto vegetal en respuesta a la determinación del dano.
