Abstract

Método para modificar las características de crecimiento de plantas que comprende modular la expresión en una planta de una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína TAD y/o modular la actividad en una planta de una proteína TAD. Se relaciona con plantas transgénicas que poseen características de crecimiento modificadas, donde dichas plantas presentan una expresión modulada de un ácido nucleico que codifica un fragmento de una proteína TAD. Reivindicación 13: Una planta transgénica que presenta un mayor rendimiento en comparación con las correspondientes plantas de tipo salvaje, caracterizada porque dicha planta transgénica presenta unja expresión modulada de la secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína TAD y/o una actividad modulada de una proteína TAD. Reivindicación 16: Células vegetales transgénicas, partes de planta transgénicas, incluyendo partes cosechables, propágulos, semillas o progenie, caracterizadas porque son de una planta acorde con cualquiera de las cláusulas 13 a 15. Reivindicación 17: El uso de una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína TAD y/o de una proteína TAD, caracterizado porque es para incrementar el rendimiento.
