Abstract
Se introducen intencionalmente separaciones amplias en una o más capas en una zona radialmente intermedia de la pared de un tubo enrollado en espiral. Se ha encontrado que este aumento en la adaptabilidad mejora la rigidez DI del tubo en relación a un tubo construido con los mismos materiales pero sin separaciones en la zona intermedia.
