Abstract
Un tensor que tiene una polea apoyada gorrón mediante, en un alojamiento. El alojamiento comprende además una guía. La guía se acopla por deslizamiento con unos rieles sobre la base. La guía y los rieles fuerzan al alojamiento a moverse en una trayectoria lineal predeterminada. Los rieles están desplazados horizontalmente con respecto a dos ejes definidos por la polea. La carga de la polea es también desplazada verticalmente desde el eje del movimiento de la guía. La guía y los rieles tienen un coeficiente de fricción predeterminado, de tal forma que el resultado acumulativo es un efecto de amortiguación asimétrico. Además, hay un enlace conectado entre el alojamiento y un cuerpo que tiene un efecto de leva. El cuerpo con efecto de leva está conectado a la base, de forma de poder. Un miembro de empuje, tal como un resorte de torsión, empuja al cuerpo con efecto de leva contra la carga de la correa a través del enlace. El radio del cuerpo con efecto de leva puede ser variado para mantener una carga constante en la correa a medida que la polea del tensor se mueve en respuesta a un cambio en la carga.
