Abstract

Método para administrar inventarios de componentes de impresora que comprende los pasos de: definir normas (330) de uno o más componentes de impresora para una o más impresoras (118) de una primera organización (102) y para una o más impresoras (124) de una segunda organización (104) estableciendo cada norma de componente de impresora (330) un evento de componente de impresora que, cuando se presenta, indica que el componente de impresora (128) requiere reemplazo; supervisar componentes de impresora (128) de las impresoras (118, 124) de la primera organización (102) y la segunda organización (104) para detectar una aparición de un evento de componente de impresora definido por una norma de componente de impresora (330); y reemplazar un componente de impresora (128) cuando se detecta un evento de componente de impresora en una impresora (118, 124).
