Abstract

Compuesto derivado halogenado del ácido 2-amino-4,5-heptenoico que tiene la fórmula (1), (2) ó (3) o una sal aceptable para uso farmacéutico del mismo, donde: R1 se selecciona del grupo formado por hidrógeno, alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, y halo, donde todos menos hidrógeno y halo pueden ser sustituidos por uno o más hidroxi, alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, alcoxi, y halo; R2 se selecciona del grupo formado por hidrógeno, alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, y halo, donde todos menos hidrógeno y halo pueden ser sustituidos por uno o más hidroxi, alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, alcoxi, y halo; con la condición de que al menos uno entre R1 o R2 debe contener un halógeno. La composición farmacéutica que comprende dicho compuesto, así como también el uso de dicho compuesto y de dicha composición en la fabricación de un medicamento para la inhibición o modulación de la sintesis de ácido nitrico, también se describen.
