Abstract
Se mejora la calidad del ruido de confort generado por un decodificador de habla durante los períodos sin habla, modificando los valores de parámetro de ruido de confort normalmente empleados para generar el ruido de confort. Los valores de parámetro de ruido de confort se modifican en respuesta a la informacion sobre variabilidad asociada con un parámetro de ruido de fondo. Los valores de parámetro de ruido de confort modificados se usan entonces para generar el ruido de confort.
