Abstract

Una composicion lubricante para motor diesel que comprende un stock base, un dispersante y un antioxidante que comprende un compuesto de organomolibdenotrinuclear soluble en aceite de la formula genérica: Mo3Sx-(Q) donde x es de 4 a 10, preferiblemen te 7, y Q es un grupo inicial, que puede ser un ligando, ypor lo menos otro compuesto seleccionado de un compuesto fenolico y un compuesto amínico; y un método para controlar la viscosidad de una composicionlubricante. La composicion es capaz de cont rolar la viscosidad del lubricante en la presencia de hollín y mantener la dispersabilidad del dispersante. Lascomposiciones minimizan el desgaste en los motores y las emisiones indeseables de los escapes causadas por la combustion incompleta de vehí culos que usanmotores diesel y lubricantes para los mismos. La combinacion de antioxidante actua mejor al controlar el incremento de viscosidad inducido por hollín que loscompuestos individuales.
