Abstract
Se describe el uso de elementos constituidos de material compuesto reforzado con fibras con matriz cerámica, el cual contiene al menos 10% en peso decarburo de silicio, siendo la proporcion de fibras de carbono y/o fibras de grafito con respecto al p eso de las fibras al menos 5% en peso, para la absorcionparcial o completa de al menos una carga similar al impacto enfocado en un punto, importando sus dimensiones en una direccion perpendicular con respecto a lacarga igual o mayor que 3 cm. Este es pesor de los elementos empleados constituidos de material compuesto reforzado con fibras puede ser reducidoparticularmente en compuestos inventativos, en los cuales los elementos presentan un refuerzo trasero (backing), los cuales están normalmente a dheridos poradhesivo. Los elementos y materiales compuestos inventivos son empleados como elementos componentes estructurales, sirviendo en el presente caso para elblindaje, entre otros en la construccion de vehículos de tipo civil como también milit ar. Asimismo, es posible el blindaje de objetos estacionarios medianteelementos o materiales compuestos inventivos. Finalmente, los elementos y materiales compuestos de acuerdo con la presente también pueden ser empleados enchalecos de seguridad.
