Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con un sistema de comunicacion de Acceso Multiple por Division de Codigo (CDMA), más particularmente a una disposicion ya un método en un receptor (10) para simplificar y mejorar el procesamiento de senal en undes modulador (11) del receptor (10) por medio de la reduccion delalcance dinámico de larga duracion de las senales recibidas, y de esta manera, reducir la cantidad de bits que se necesitan para la codificacion de dichassenales. Esto se logramediante me dios de procesamiento de senal (16) en las trayectorias de entrada de senal enfrente del desmodulador (11), dichos medios(16), que incluyen por lo menos una unidad digital de control de ganancia automático (161) mejorada, la cual integralas muestras de senal que ingresan a unnivel de potencia constante y comun, y que incluye una unidad de cuantificador subsiguiente (162), la cual transforma las muestras de senal integradas amuestras que utilizan una cantidad reducida de bits.Debido a esto, el ancho de banda de transmision en la unidad receptora es reducido y el procesamiento desenal en el desmodulador es menos complejo.
