Abstract

Un método de transmision optica con supresion de SBS que consiste en generar una senal optica; generar una senal moduladora de la fase a una frecuenciaseleccionada en el rango de 500 MHz - 30 GHz; modular la fase de la senal optica de acuerdo con lasenal moduladora de la fase; amplificar la senal optica defase modulada hasta una potencia optica mayor a 6 dBm; transmitir la senal optica amplificada a lo largo de una longitud de fibra optica; recibir dicha senaltransmitida; dicho paso de modularla fase de la senal optica comprende: acoplar dicha senal optica a un guiaondas formado en un sustrato que posee un índicede refraccion; acoplar la senal modulada de la fase a una estructura de electrodo del tipo de onda progresiva que posee una longitud de electrodo L comprendidaentre 12 y 24 mm, y la estructura de electrodo está formada sobre el sustrato en relacion con el guiaondas para efectuar una variacion electrooptica delíndice de refraccion, y cuya novedad radica en el paso de formar una terminacion en cortocircuito de la estructura de electrodo.
