Abstract
Un método de soldar una cabeza de cepillo de dientes termoplástica previamente formada y un mango de cepillo de dientes termoplástico previamente formadocuyo método comprende, (a) seleccionar una cabeza de cepillo de dientes que está libre de cualquier material capaz de absorber desde aproximadamente 0,7 hastaaproximadamente 2,0 micrometros, o desde aproximadamente 4,0 hasta aproximadamente 6,0 micrometro de longitud de onda de energía, (b) seleccionar un mango decepillo de dientes que contengamaterial que absorbe una energía de una longitud de onda desde aproximadamente 0,7 hasta aproximadamente 2,0 micrometros oaproximadamente 0,4 hasta aproximadamente 6,0 micrometros de material (c) alinear las respectivas superficies de extremo de la cabeza y el mango paracontactarse estrechamente la una con la otra a fin de formar una junta, (d) exponer la junta a un haz de láser con una longitud de onda desde aproximadamente0,7 hasta aproximadamente 2,0 micrometros o desde aproximadamente 4,0 hasta aproximadamente 6,0 micrometros , cuyo haz láser es capaz de penetrar la cabezadel cepillo de dientes y contactar la junta; por lo cual la energia del haz láser es absorbida en la superficie del mango del cepillo de dientes en la juntamediante el material que allí se absorbe energía, causando que las superficies de cabeza y mango del cepillo de dientes alrededor de la junta se fundan yfusionen con la otra.
