Abstract
Un tubo de acero con una envuelta de material sintético térmicamente aislante, exterior, que presenta una capa de aislamiento térmico (2) de un materialsintético termoplástico, especialmente polipropileno espumado, así como también una capaprotector a (3) mecánica, exterior, de un material de fibra altamenteresistente, que está incorporado en una matriz termoplástica o duroplástica, estando dimensionada la capa de proteccion mecánica (3) en su espesor de tal modoque junto con la capade aislamie nto térmico (2) resiste la presion estática existente en aguas muy profundas sin una deformacion sustancial.
