Abstract

Se refiere a un dispositivo mejorado 1, para la fijacion externa de fracturas de huesos, específicamente para fracturas de tobillos del tipo capaz de sermontado sobre un fijador externo unilateral y que comprende un cuerpo central extendible 2 yporc iones articuladas opuestas las que son conectadas arespectivos extremos del cuerpo central mediante juntas esféricas. El dispositivo es una abrazadera para tobillos que tiene un vástago 20 preferiblementerealizado en un material transparente alos ra yos X, con un extremo bifurcado 21 que forma un par de salientes 22, 24 que tienen una primer porcion demandíbula 40 de una abrazadera inclinable 25 que pivota sobre un pivote 35 provisto entre las salientes y que comprende una segundaporcion de man díbula 50acoplada a la primer porcion de mandíbula 40 y vincula a la misma por un par de tornillos 59. El movimiento pivotante de la abrazadera inclinable 25 esdetenido por un tornillo 43 pasante a través de un orificio 58 en lasegunda porcion y que se vincula en una depresion fileteada 39 provista en la primerporcion de mandíbula 40 ejerciendo dicho tornillo una accion de union sobre el pivote 35.
