Abstract
"AUMENTADOR DE CORPO CAPAZ DE SER IMPLANTADO ATRAVéS DE UM PEDìCULO PARA RECONSTRUçãO DE CORPO VERTEBRAL". O qual é fornecido para reconstrução de uma vértebra que sofreu perda de massa óssea ou fratura, e para ser implantado na vértebra a partir de um pedículo da vértebra para ajudar a manter ou restabelecer a posição e o tamanho normais da vértebra. Através do pedículo vertebral, foi criado um dispositivo, que se ajusta à anatomia do pedículo, para reconstruir o corpo vertebral fraturado ou colapsado. O dispositivo possui uma forma em barra retangular, e uma primeira extremidade, uma segunda extremidade, quatro lados, um recesso na segunda extremidade e uma abertura para parafuso longitudinalmente formada na segunda extremidade; cada um dos quatro lados possui uma porção inclinada próxima à primeira extremidade; os quatro lados do aumentador de corpo possuem cavidades em cada uma de suas porções, cavidades estas que se comunicam entre si para juntas formarem uma área oca. O corpo vertebral fraturado é reduzido e mantido por este dispositivo até o crescimento ósseo e a união da fratura.
