Abstract
Un caudalímetro de Coriolis de sensibilidad a caudal mejorada en el que el flujo de material induce deflexiones de Coriolis en un tubo de flujo ydeflexiones similares a Coriolis en una barra de compensacion acoplada vibracionalmente al tubo de flujo.Tanto las deflexiones de Coriolis como lasdeflexiones similares a Coriolis tienen un desfasaje determinado por el flujo de material y son utilizadas coadyuvantemente para obtener informacion de flujodel material. El caudalímetro logra una sensibilidad a caudal constante en una gama de cambios en la densidad del material: (1) variando la sensibilidad acaudal en una primera direccion bajo el control de la relacion entre la amplitud de vibracion de modo de excitacion del tubo de flujo y la barra decompensacion y (2) variando la sensibilidad a caudal en una direccion opuesta bajo el control de la relacion entre la amplitud de deflexion de Coriolis deltubo de flujo y la deflexion similar a Coriolis de la barra de compensacion. La relacion de amplitud de vibracion del modo de excitacion varía con cambios enla frecuencia de modo de excitacion causados por cambios de la densidad del material. La relacion de amplitud de la deflexion de Coriolis y la deflexionsimilar a Coriolis cambia con cambios en la magnitud de la separacion de la frecuencia de modo de excitacion y la frecuencia de segundo modo de flexion a labarra de compensacion que, a su vez, es causada por cambios en la densidad del material.
