Abstract

Un aparato y método para generar potencia. Se proporcionan estatorreactores supersonicos en los extremos distantes de un rotor de baja resistenciaaerodinámica. El rotor está unido a un árbol en un cubo central, y gira alrededor de un eje que definee se árbol. El rotor actua como una piezaestructural que transmite al árbol el empuje que generan los estatorreactores. En la forma de realizacion preferida, una entrada del estatorreactorcon revestimiento parcial capta y comprime una corriente deaire de entrada de impacto con el uso de estructuras de entrada y un flanco de receptáculoadyacente. La corriente de entrada de aire comprimido proporciona oxígeno para mezclar con el combustible, que puede ser gas natural, otroshidrocarburosadecuados o hidrogeno, que se proporciona a la cámara o cámaras de combustion del estatorreactor que, con preferencia, se puede reemplazar y que es novedoso.El combustible se oxida en la cámara de combustion para producir gases decombustion que se expanden. Di chos gases se escapan a través de una boquillaparcialmente revestida que actua contra tres estructuras de salida y un flanco del revestimiento adyacente, que hace girar el estatorreactor avelocidades supersonicas yproduce energía de árbol.
