Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema de radiodifusion directa vía satélite que ensambla bits de programas de difusion en incrementos de velocidad fundamental, variosde los cuales se ensamblan en un bloque. Los bloques se dividen en símbolos que se desmultiplexan en canales alternos de una pluralidad de canales develocidad fundamental. Los canales de velocidad fundamental se desmultiplexan en un numero correspondiente de frecuencias de difusion para transmision a unsatélite. El equipo a bordo del satélite conmuta los símbolos en flujos binarios multiplexados por division de tiempo (TDM). Los receptores procesan los flujosTDM utilizando cabeceras de control de servicio (SCHs) proporcionadas en los mismos por estaciones de difusion. Los SCHs facilitan latransmision de componentede servicio diferenctes dentro de bloques de canales de difusion, la asociacion de un canal de difusion primario con uno o más canales de difusion secundariosen base de boblque a bloque, y la transmision de flujos binarios multibloque, o datos auxiliares por un canal de difusion que son independientes de un servicioen bloques contiguos o no contiguos.
