Abstract

Una pieza de barra de sondeo de peso pesado y método para producir la misma que es adecuada para ser usada en la perforacion de un pozo desviado en unentorno corrosivo que comprende un cuerpo tubular que tiene una perforacion longitudinal a travésde l mismo y extremos primero y segundo, teniendo el cuerpo almenos sustancialmente una dureza Brinell de aproximadamente 217 a aproximadamente 241 para presentar resistencia mejorada al fisurado debido a esfuerzos porcorrosion y fragilidad debido ala presencia de hidrogeno, una resistencia a la fluencia de aproximadamente 6,237 Kg/cm2 a aproximadamente 7.381 Kg/cm2 parapresentar una resistencia aumentada a los esfuerzos de flexion, y una resistencia al impacto de al menos aproximadamente0,138 m- Kg de acuerdo a mediciones delensayo Charpy-V a temperaturas ambiente, para obtener resistencia aumentada a cargas de impacto
