Abstract

Una composicion de gasolina de motor formulada sin plomo que comprende una composicion de mezcla base que tiene un índice de Octano en Motor (MON) que vadesde 80 a menos de 98, que comprende, como componente (a) al menos 5% (en volumen de laco mposicion total) de al menos un hidrocarburo que tiene lasiguiente formula 1: R-CH2-CH(CH3)-C(CH3)2-CH3 en donde R es hidrogeno o metilo y como componente (b) al menos un hidrocarburo alifático saturado líquido quetiene de 4 a 12 átomos decarbono. L a correspondiente composicion de gasolina para motor formulada sin plomo comprende también al menos un aditivo paragasolinas de motores. La mezcla o gasolina contiene preferentemente al menos un componente elegido del grupo consistenteen compuesto s aromáticos, olefinas yoxigenatos y mezclas de los mismos. Las gasolinas o mezclas dan lugar, tras la combustion, a menores niveles de emisiones en los gases de escape, enparticular dioxido de carbono, monoxido de nitrogeno y total dehiodrocarburo s. Una composicion de mezcla base de gasolina para motor sin plomo para utilizaren la composicion de gasolina comprende los componentes (a) y (b) mencionados. El uso del compuesto de formula 1 consiste en la preparacion de lacomposicionde gasolina sin plomo. Un método para reducir emisiones de los gases de escape en la combustion de combustibles de gasolina sin plomo con un MON que va desde80 a menos de 98 comprende incorporar un compuesto de formula 1 en uncombustible. El uso de l a composicion de gasolina sin plomo en un motor decombustion de encendido por chispa es para reducir emisiones de los gases de escape.
