Abstract

Una disposicion de control de fuente de energía para un teléfono portátil, le permite continuar operando utilizando una bateria (10) interna cuando unabatería (12) externa está ausente o tiene voltaje insuficiente. La disposicion de control de fuente de energía incluye detectores para los voltajes de labatería y un método para controlar dicha fuente con el cual la unidad de control aplica energía a la línea de energía del teléfono desde la bateríaexterna preferencialmente, o desde un dispositivo de carga externo si está presente, de manera de extender el tiempo de vida de la batería interna dedificil acceso. La unidad de control también carga preferencialmente la batería interna cuando el dispositivo de carga externo está presente
