Abstract

Proporciona composiciones de revestimiento secundario acuoso adaptadas para revestir una hebra de fibras con apresto aplicado, incluyendo lascomposiciones un polímero que contiene: a) un polímero vinilo halogenado y b) por lo menos una de lassiguientes sustancias: un polímero elastomérico, unpolímero que contiene uretano diferente del polímero elastomérico, un polímero acrílico endurecible soluble, emulsionable o dispersable en agua o un materialde cera. Otro aspecto es un conjunto generalmente tubular que tiene un refuerzo revestido con una capa primaria de una composicion de apresto que incluye unlubricante de fibras que proporciona al conjunto una resistencia eléctrica mayor de aproximadamente 750 megaohmios por 152 13 milímetro de longitud delconjunto y una segunda capa que incluye un homopolímero de vinilo halogenado y un polímero que contiene uretano. Otro aspecto es una hebra de fibrasformada con un material termoplástico o termoestable que contiene una capaprimaria que incluye un homopolímero de vinilo halogenado y un polímero quecontiene uretano. Incluye también hebras revestidas con los revestimientos descriptos anteriormente y compuestos poliméricos y conjuntos reforzados conlos mismos.
