Abstract
Una herramienta orientadora para una columna de perforacion para insertar en un pozo incluye un alojamiento que tiene una pluralidad de cunas que seproyectan hacia adentro. Dentro del alojamiento se encuentra dispuesto un mandril. La herramienta orientadora tiene dos posiciones, una posicion derégimen y una posicion de orientacion. El alojamiento es movible longitudinalmente con respecto al mandril entre la posicion de régimen y laposicion de orientacion. El mandril y el alojamiento definen una cámara anular que es venteada al exterior del alojamiento. Un tubo metálico flexible enespiral se encuentra dispuesto dentro de la cámara anular y contiene fluido hidráulico. El extremo superior del tubo en espiral está acoplado alalojamiento y está en comunicacion fluida con la primera cámara de fluido. El extremo inferior del tubo en espiral se acopla al mandril. El mandril tienecunas que se proyectan hacia afuera, las que son engranables con un juego correspondiente de cunas que se proyectan hacia adentro en el alojamiento,cuando la herramienta orientadora está en la posicion de régimen. Un piston se encuentra dispuesto de manera movible dentro del alojamiento. El piston yel alojamiento definen unaprimera cámara de fluido y una segunda cámara de fluido. La segunda cáamara de fluido es venteada al exterior del alojamiento.El movimiento hacia abajo del piston provoca una diferencia de presion posible entre la presion reinante dentro del tubo en espiral y la presion reinantefuera del tubo en espiral, haciendo que el tubo en espiral se desenrolle y gire el mandril con respecto al alojamiento.
