Abstract
Un aparato y un método para producir artículos de poliéster moldeados que tienen bajo contenido de acetaldehído directamente desde una fusíon sinsolidificacion intermedia del poliéster fundido. Se usa un procedimiento de moldeo por fusion enel que se mezcla el agente depurador de acetaldehído conuna fusion de poliéster antes de la desvolatilizacinn en un tanque evaporador. El poliéster desvolatilizado es bombeado desde el tanque evaporador y esinyectado en un molde formando de estamaner a un árticulo configuradi. El aparato puede incluir uno o más tanques evaporadores en una línea dedesvolatilizacion, o pueden usarse líneas de desvolatilizacion multiple que surgen de un reactor de polimerizacion principal. Elartículo conf igurado finaldebería contener menos de 10 ppm de acetaldehído.
