Abstract

El aparato incluye una cámara de gasificación con forma de esferoide achatado (forma ovoide) que cuenta con entradas para materia prima y oxidantegaseoso. Una salida de gas de combustión permite la remoción de los gases de combustión, yun área de recolección de ceniza permite la recolección yremoción de la ceniza producida en la cámara de gasificación. Una serie de tubos venturi de recirculación ubicados dentro de la cámara de gasificaciónrecirculan los gases de combustión enlas partículas hacia adentro y hacia afuera de la zona de gasificación. Cada tubo venturi incluye un pleno quetiene una entrada para oxidante gaseoso y una serie de orificios capaces de producir flujo de aire a alta velocidad hacia el lechode materia prima enla zona de gasificación. La acción de filtración del lecho arrastra las partículas de la combustión. Una serie de canones acoplados a una o másválvulas de impulsos proporcionan flujo de aire por impulsos a la zona degasificación para agitar el lecho de materia prima. Las entradas para oxidantegaseoso en el área de recolección de ceniza permiten el control del contenido de carbono de la ceniza. El dispositivo presenta la ventaja de no tenerpartes internas móviles. La agitación y recirculación es controlada por los impulsos del oxidante gaseoso y la entrada de éste en la cámara degasificación.
