Abstract

Un aparato para proteger los dispositivos de fibra óptica, el cual posee, como mínimo, una envoltura, un medio de control asociado con la misma,comprende una cubierta (200) que tiene como mínimo, una envoltura (270) la cual pasa a través de lacubi erta (200), en la cual la longitud de la fibra ópticaestá insertada de manera tal que la misma está ubicada dentro de la cubierta en sí misma, en la presencia de un medio de sellado interpuesto entre dichaenvoltura y dicha cubierta, de modo quela en voltura está delimitada de una manera substancialmente impermeable con respecto a la cubierta. Se refieretambién a un método para llevarlo a cabo.
