Abstract

Una disposición de distribución de fibras ópticas caracterizada porque comprende: (a) por lo menos una pila de módulos de interconexión de fibrasópticas; y (b) por lo menos una región de almacenaje de fibras ópticas dispuesta en dichap ila de módulos de interconexión que almacena tramossobrantes, de una o más fibras ópticas que se extienden entre respectivos módulos de interconexión, comprendiendo cada región de almacenaje unapluralidad de soportes que están mutuamenteespaci ados a través de al menos parte del ancho de la pila de módulos de interconexión, de manera que en usocada tramo sobrante de fibra óptica puede ser encaminado dentro de la región de almacenaje y encaminado alrededor de por lo menos uno delos sop ortes que puedeser seleccionado para proveer al menos aproximadamente la longitud e almacenamiento correcta requerida para ese tramo sobrante de fibra óptica.También se hace referencia a un conjunto de partes para formar ladisposición d e distribución de fibras ópticas, a un modulo que tiene una región dealmacenaje de tramos sobrantes de fibras ópticas, y a un método para conectar y almacenar tramos sobrantes de fibras ópticas.
