Abstract
Se revela una celulosa sulfonada insoluble y esponjable al agua con propiedades mejoradas. Una realizacion de la presente invencion se refiere auna celulosa sulfonada insoluble y esponjable al agua con un grado promedio de sustitucion degru po sulfonico que oscila entre alrededor de 0,2 y alrededor de0,5, y que presenta un valor inicial de Absorbencia Bajo Carga de por lo menos 8 gramos por gramo. La celulosa sulfonada puede ser utilizada en productosabsorbentes descartables.
