Abstract

Un dispositivo formador y procesador de imagen para ser usado con una video cámara equipada con una lente de 180 grados que tiene un campo de visiónsubstancialmente hemisférico.La disposición implementa operaciones equivalentes a la panoramización, inclinación y cambio de plano de una cámara convencionalsin el uso de partes móviles. La lente está montado verticalmente por encima de un plano que está siendo vigilada. La cámara produce una imagen en 180gradosformada por una pluralidad de pixels.La imagen en 180 grados está distorsionada debido a las propiedades de la lente de 180 grados. La disposición corrige ladistorsión mapeando los pixels de la imagen en 180 grados en coordenadas producidas seleccionando una parte particular dela imagen en 180 grados a servisualizada. Esto permite que un operador seleccione partes del campo de visión de la lente de 180 grados y las visualiza como si hubieran sidoproducidas por una cámara que tiene una lente convencional que está siendo panoramizada, inclinada o está cambiando el plano. La imagen en 180 gradosformada por la cámara es dividida en cuatro componentes de imagen separadas llevados por cuatro haces de fibras ópticas. Cada haz tiene un CCD y uncircuito procesador de imagen asociado que forma una representación electrónica del componente de imagen llevado por ese haz.
