Abstract

Un filtro de limpieza automática y un método para retirar material en partículas desde un fluido de transporte, tal como aire, y que incluye unalojamiento que tiene un par de poleas espaciadas sobre las que está dispuesta una cinta de filtros in fin, para presentar dos tramos de filtro generalmenterecto, y dos tramos de filtro generalmente curvos. La cinta de filtro sin fin incluye un substrato permeable formado por una cinta sin fin y una pluralidadde dobleces o pliegues de medio defi ltro que se extienden hacia afuera desde la superficie del substrato, de modo que el fluido de transporte puede entrarpasando a través de los pliegues y depositar el material en partículas sobre la superficie exterior de los pliegues. Unatobera de aspiración está dispuestaen la adyacencia de la superficie exterior del filtro sin fin en los tramos curvos del mismo, para remover material en partículas depositado sobre lospliegues conforme los mismos pasan a lo largo de tal tramocurvo.
