Abstract
Un método y aparato para determinar la intensidad de las senales, independientemente de la velocidad de los datos de las senales, en unreceptor que recibe senales procedentes de un transmisor de velocidad variable. La senal ingresada consiste en una serie de marcos. Cada uno de los marcoscomprende una cantidad de grupos de control de la potencia, que contienen datos. La cantidad de los grupos de control de la potencia que contienendatos, dentro de cada uno de los marcos, dependede la velocidad de los datos, desconocida. La posición de los grupos de control de la potencia, dentro delmarco, es seudo-aleatoria. La intensidad de una senal ingresante con una velocidad de los datos, desconocida, se determina en base a unconjunto activode grupos de control de la potencia situados dentro de un marco. El conjunto activo de los grupos de control de la potencia, contiene datos que sonindependientes de la velocidad de los datos, desconocida. Esta información sobrela intensidad de la senal, puede ser utilizada para indicar que laintensidad de la senal es suficiente para llevar a cabo el procesamiento ulterior de la senal.
