Abstract

Un método de comunicación particularmente por división de tiempo y por una única banda de frecuencia, en el cual se reduce el sobrepico de tiempo deseguridad por el ajuste activo de la temporización de las transmisiones de enlace inverso, comouna función del tiempo por propagación de idea y vuelta.Un ciclo de tiempo se divide en múltiples celdas de tiempo, durante cada una de las cuales la estación base transmite a una estación de usuario y laestación de usuario transmite a laestación base. La comunicación se inicia con una transacción de temporización de ida y vuelta. En respuesta a un mensajegeneral de interrogación de la estación base, una estación de usuario que busca establecer comunicación transmite un brevemensaje de répl ica. La estaciónbase calcula la distancia de la estación de usuario midiendo el retardo por propagación con respecto a la recepción del mensaje de réplica. La estaciónbase envía una orden de ajuste de temporización a la estaciónde usuario indicando a la estación de usuario que adelante o retrase su temporización deacuerdo con la distancia calculada,de modo de minimizar los tiempos de resguardo entre las celdas de tiempo. De allí en más,la estación basesupervisalas transmisi ones de la estación de usuario y periódicamente ordena a la estación de usuario que adelante o retrase su temporización de modo similar. Laestación de usuario puede transmitir un preámbulo de control al comienzo decada celda de tiempo par a permitir que la estación base realice los cálculos detemporización de ida y vuelta, y/o permitir el ajuste de potencia o de selección de antena de la estación de usuario.
