Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso para convertir una mezcla racémica de ésteres de 3,3-dietil-4-[(4-carboxi)fenoxi]-2-azetidinona en lacorrespondiente (S)-azetidinona ácida usando lipasa derivada de Pseudomonas sp. El proceso provee el producto deseado ácido con un alto exceso enantiomérico.
