The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent audmakng part of the same To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, NICHOLAS MLLER, of' the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and ornamental Design for a Glock-Oase; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying photograph forming part of this specification, in which the design is represented by a front view.
This invention relates to a design for a clock-case.
For convenience in description, it may be divided into two parts by the line of division l l a a being the upper, and
b b the lower part.
'lbe main feature ofthe design consists in a horsos bust, (head and ncck,) fiery and spirited, resting on a suitable base, ornamented with loaves, which forms the part a a of the design, as may be seen in the photograph.
In the part b b, on each side, is an ornamental column, commencing near the bottom edge, which supports the toppart a a'.
Between the two columns, near the upper portion ofthe part b b, the dial is situated; above it is a medallion-head ot' a girl, forming part of the top edge.
Beneath the dial is a bears head, protruding an arabesque.
The bottom portion of this part b b contains in the center an arabesque, on each side of it a medallionhead of a boy, and is shaped and ornamented, as seen in the photograph.
The whole background is embellished by twigs and branches of ivy leaves.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The parts a a and l) b, separate and combined, of the design for a clock-case, as herein shown and described.
