Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch the system automatically by switching an active system and a standby system at a prescribed time interval if an alarm representing a line fault takes place in both the active and standby systems so as to identify a transmission/reception system having a fault and to use the transmission/ reception system without any fault as the active system. CONSTITUTION:If alarm signal s A1, A2 from the 1st and 2nd transmission/ reception systems arrive at the same time, an AND circuit 91 sends '1' output to a changeover timer 9, which is started.
