Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to achieve multi-address communication at a circuit level by distributing signals, after being multiplexed in a time-division mode and selected for communication control, to receiver circuits and then by supplying them to respective terminals by way of signal holding circuits. CONSTITUTION:Telex terminals A, B...C are connected time-division switchboard TDS and a signal from each terminal is transmitted to selector circuit 12 through transmission line 11 and multiplexed in a time-division mode. Then, the signal after selector circuit 30 appears at communication controller 16, where it is multiplexed through switching control and distributed 14 before being sent to each terminal by way of signal holding circuit 18 provided to each reception circuit and the reception circuit. Consequently, the connection between terminals A and B is made, for example, by receiving a transmission circuit signal from terminal A by terminal B and a signal of the transmission circuit from terminal B by terminal A, so that the multi-address communication can be achieved at a circuit level.
