Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stable reproduced color screen in a VTR, by increasing a burst signal during recording as compared with the no-burst section of a chrominance signal, and increasing the no-burst section as compared with the burst signal and also exercising ACC during reproduction. CONSTITUTION:During recording, a color video signal from a terminal is supplied to an LPF12, and then processed by FM modulation 15 and addition 17. The resulting signal is supplied to a BPF21 to extract a chrominance signal Sc, which is supplied to an ACC amplifier 31 and an emphasizing circuit 32 to increase only a burst signal Sb, which is processed through the frequency conversion of a multiplying circuit 33, whose output is recorded on a tape 2 through an adding circuit 17. During reproduction, a signal St from the tape 2 is extracted and supplied through a regenerative amplifier 51 to a BPF52, whose output is further processed by FM demodulation 54 and addition 56. The resulting signal is supplied through an LPF61 to the amplifier 31 and circuit 32 to obtain the signal Sc whose no-burst section is emphasized, and the signal Sc is frequency- converted by the circuit 33 and then reproduced after passsing through the adding circuit 56. Thus, the S/N ratio of the signal Sb is improved and stable pictures are reproduced.
