Abstract
PURPOSE:To extract a reference signal such as a burst signal and line decision signal by a unit which receives both PAL-system and SECAM-system signals, by changing gate pulse widths over interlocking with a switching method of switching a color demodulation circuit, etc., corresponding to the system of a received signal. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is equipped with synchronous separator circuit 22 which receives a composite color TV signal from a detection circuit processing different PAL and SECAM-system color TV signals received and reference signal extraction circuit 34 which receives the output of chroma amplifier 21 extracting a reference signal inserted into a horizontal back poach part with different time width of every system. Further, the gate pulse generating circuit which receives the output of circuit 22 and then controls transistor Tr28 by differentiating and integrating horizontal synchronizing pulses and switching method 31 which operates interlocking with system switching method 30 connected to Tr28 of this circuit 28 are both provided; the gate pulse width is changed over by method 31 so as to extract a burst signal or line decision signal on PAL and SECAM systems.
