Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a passive infrared motion detector for detecting movements of persons. Such motion detectors are for example from the Textbook "Passive Infrared Motion Detector", Verlag Moderne Industrie, Landsberg / Lech, 1996 known.

The aforementioned motion detectors with two sensor systems are common, that they have only one switching output, whereby no differentiated circuits or messages are possible.
In the German patent application "passive infrared motion detector", file number 10235292.5, filing date 02.08.2002, a motion detector is proposed which is responsible for monitoring two contiguous surveillance areas and is set up for two switching outputs. However, this application is no design solution for designing a corresponding motion detector refer to.
Furthermore, in DE 198 21 302 A1 a passive infrared motion detector with a Multifunctional module shown and described, which is a plastic holder for Having a plurality of detector circuit boards. This known design of a Sensor arrangement in conjunction with an associated lens system allows the Realization of a motion detector with a selectable monitoring area, however, only a single switching output is available.
Based on the known from DE 198 21 302 A1 design of a passive infrared motion detector The invention is based on the object, a further development indicating a monitoring of two non-overlapping areas, namely a close range and a long range allows.
angegebenen Merkmale aufweist. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in weiteren Ansprüchen
angegeben. This object is achieved by a motion detector, which in the
With the invention, a motion detector is therefore proposed, the one in the Principle has simple structure, but as a universal device - possibly also subsequently changeable - adaptable to different needs. The motion detector For this purpose, a plurality of optical systems for forming substantially not overlapping detection areas whose output signals at least one Processing device are supplied, which in turn drives a plurality of switching outputs. The processing device advantageously includes a microcomputer, the is programmable according to the required signal links.
As a concrete embodiment of the device components essential for this purpose, it is proposed to use a known plastic holder, the detector circuit boards carries on which infrared radiation detectors of the two optical systems are arranged, but formed on the plastic holder at least one screen is. The screen is designed so that the detection of respective infrared radiation from the two detection areas is shielded against each other, but no impairment of infrared radiation detection in the respective detection area he follows.
Special advantages result from the adjacent detection areas in conjunction with the more than one switching output, because it adds new features are feasible. In addition, the motion detector by appropriate Modular system for all common additional functions, such as twilight switches or remote parameterization.
A further explanation of the invention is given below on the basis of exemplary embodiments, which are shown in drawing figures.
gesteuert. Diese Funktionseinheiten sind als Minimalausstattung aufzufassen, wie
weiter unten erläutert ist.Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of a motion detector according to the invention, the
two
Erfassungsbereich (vergl. Fig. 2) ausgelegt.
The
The
So
The
The generated alarm signal can also be used alone or in addition internally, for example for Activation of a flashing light or another located on the motion detector alarming element.
In FIG. 2, detection ranges are shown by way of example which correspond to the invention
Motion detectors can be monitored. In the illustration is on a

In addition,
erfolgen.According to the
In
The
Fig. 3 shows a

kontaktierte elektronische Komponenten 43.
Figures 4 and 5 show two views of a populated main board bar 40th Die
