Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to and with an electric shaver cooperating device according to the preamble of claim 1 (See EP-A-0 389 784).
Electric shavers are already known in which, for example, the display a necessary cleaning of the shaver time-controlled via an optical Information is issued. Furthermore, this optical information output the state of charge of a battery is displayed and further information such as for example the need to change the shaving head and / or the shaving blade.
A cleaning device is known from the unpublished application DE 19606719 known for a razor. Such a cleaning device is a Example of a device interacting with a shaver. In the further Description is spoken only of a razor. But that's also it a corresponding device interacting with the shaver is meant.
For the proper functioning of one that interacts with the shaver Device and also for the purpose of customer service are information about the previous operation of the shaver helpful. Because this information is for use of the shaver, they are usually not displayed. Around According to the invention, the ability to utilize information if necessary is described in Claim 1 specified a razor in which this information can be output, without the output unit therefore having to be enlarged. So it will be an advantage achieved in the design of the shaver because it is not necessary to have an output unit to be provided, which is of the size capable of displaying basically all Make information displayed side by side. This is particularly evident in Information as meaningful, which is practically not at all by the user himself, but only by Customer service of the shaver manufacturer are needed. Since it is Customer service personnel are appropriately qualified personnel Effort for outputting information from the shaver can be greater than one would normally impose on a razor user.
In the shaver according to claim 2, it proves advantageous that the Signal input via a PIN of the microcontroller of this microcontroller clearly is controllable. The shaver must be opened in order to connect to the microprocessor to get close, but it can be avoided that the shaver prompted by the user into the separate output mode without wanting to arrives and the user cannot do anything with the following display knows and concludes that the device has a defect.
In the shaver according to claim 3, it proves advantageous that the separate Output operating state can be activated without the housing of the shaver must be opened. Modern shavers are usually different Supply voltages can be driven. The razors show Voltage converters, mostly flyback converters, on the primary side of which are different Voltages can be applied. Usually shavers are connected to 12V or 24V DC networks or on 110V or 220V AC networks operated. In the application with the number DE 38 03 906 A1, for example described how to recognize which mains voltage to the shaver is created. It is now possible, for example, in the razor according to claim 3, For a first period of a few seconds, for example, a DC voltage of Apply 12V to the shaver. During a second period of time, too can take a few seconds, then an AC voltage of 220V can be applied to the Shaver to be put on. When the voltages to be applied to the shaver must be set manually by an operator, it is advisable to choose longer periods of time and to provide greater tolerances. It is however, it is also possible to provide a power supply unit at whose output the voltages of the corresponding sizes are generated. This power supply can be designed in this way be that the voltage at the output of the power supply changes in a time sequence, that the different tensions according to the particular time sequence Claim 3 are generated. The power supply is then for the activation of the separate one Output operating state adjusted.
The shaver according to claim 4 advantageously shows that the separate dispensing operating state can be activated without opening the shaver. It is activation in a particularly simple manner is necessary without further aids.
In the design of the shaver according to claim 5, the specific Operating conditions can be set by the on / off switch of the shaver in certain sequence is operated and / or by the long hair trimmer of the shaver is switched on or off in a specific sequence.
However, activation of the output operating state can also be possible, for example be carried out by either one of the described types of activation the output mode is activated in various ways can. It is also possible to design a razor so that activation the output operating state is only possible if several of the types described activation in combination.
The shaver according to claim 6 shows that a comparative advantage large number of information can be displayed, the user of the shaver can set which of the displayable information is to be displayed. there shows again with an output unit limited in size that nevertheless The required information can be identified and selected by the user in a targeted manner can be.
In the shaving apparatus according to claim 7, the setting mode can be selected, for example be, for example, the on / off switch and / or the switch for actuation a long hair trimmer of the razor are operated in a specific sequence.
Basically, it is possible in the separate output operating state in the Read out microcontroller stored information directly from the microcontroller, by attaching an electrical line to a corresponding PIN of the microcontroller and the information is read out via this electrical line e.g. with the help of another computer. The information can then be processed there and displayed if necessary. Usually one with a microcontroller equipped shaver on an output unit, such as a display, one or more LEDs and / or an acoustic signal output device. through this output unit becomes at least one operating state during normal operation of the shaver, e.g. the state of charge of one in the shaver built-in accumulator.
According to
According to claim 9, the information can be output optically and / or acoustically respectively.
In the shaver according to claim 10, it proves advantageous if that of the output signal is read by means of a detector, which in turn can be connected to an input of a computer. A comparative one A simple configuration results when the detector has an input a PC is connected. This input can be the serial as well as the parallel input of the PC. The detector can be used both for optical resolution Signals are designed as well as for the resolution of acoustic signals. When dissolving Optical signals from the shaver can either be the display or at least one of the LEDs can be controlled with a coded signal. The coding can e.g. in the RC5 code. When controlling an LED, there are opposite the control of the display advantages because of the faster response speed the LED. However, an acoustic output device can also be controlled become. By determining the pulse width modulated signals accordingly the information can then be transmitted.
In a shaver according to claim 11, the information is output preferably via a display. The state of charge of the accumulator of the shaver To display, for example, an area is provided in which in normal operation of the shaver digits can be displayed to show a remaining operating time of the shaver until the battery is completely empty can. Furthermore, several areas can be provided on the display by means of their control in normal operation the percentage capacity of the battery in Steps of 20%, for example. The digits can be used in the separate output operating state - for example via a specific number - the Type of information to be displayed. If this information through a multi-digit number must be represented, the number of digits the number of simultaneously digits that can be displayed can be increased, for example, by actuation certain areas are shown, at which point of the number the currently displayed digit. Also by alternately controlling the digits, for example one digit in continuous display and another digit in flashing display can For example, a two-digit number can be displayed if, for example, set is that the digit shown in continuous display represents the first digit of the number and the the flashing digit represents the second digit of the number.
With a display option in which individual areas can be controlled can also advantageously be provided according to claim 12 that the control of a certain area signals that the shaver is in the separate dispensing mode located.
During normal operation of the shaver, the
The separate output operating state can be activated, for example, by
different grid voltages at the grid connection at
Alternatively or additionally, the separate output operating state can also be activated
be a
Another way of activating the separate output operating state
is that the on / off
If the separate output operating state is activated, this can be done to the user
for example, by actuating one of the
If, for example, the display of multi-digit numbers is necessary, this can be done with
a one-digit representation of numbers in connection with the
Multi-digit numbers, for example two-digit numbers, can also be displayed be, for example, for a certain period of a few seconds the first digit is displayed in continuous operation, while afterwards for the same The second digit flashes.
Alternatively, the information can also be displayed by sending a
The information can also be output by an optical or
acoustic output device is controlled pulse width modulated. It can

An advantageous embodiment in such a coded control of an output device

To specify in a setting mode which of the information that can be displayed is output
