Trotz seiner vergleichsweise geringen und entsprechend gut in das Gehäuse 4 integrierbaren Abmessungen ist das als Flüssigkristallanzeige ausgebildete Digital-Anzeigefeld 2 auch vom Benutzer deutlich ablesbar.

Dieser Wert ist zweckmäßigerweise als unteres Minimum zu betrachten, um über eine gewisse Restreserve in den Stromversorgungszellen zu verfügen.
Dieser in Fig.3 dargestellte Zustand kann gegebenenfalls auch durch ein "Blinken" des Zahlwertes zusätzlich signalisiert werden, wenn das Anzeigefeld 2 als Blinkanzeige-Signal für das Aufladen des Akkus bzw. den Ladezustand der Batterie(n) ausgebildet ist.

In Fig.4 ist auf dem Digital-Anzeigefeld die Zeitanzeige "13:40" Uhr angezeigt.
Dabei könnte auf dem Digital-Anzeigefeld 2 beispielsweise im "Ruhezustand" des elektrischen Rasierapparates 1 die Uhrzeit angezeigt werden, während bei eingeschaltetem Gerät automatisch auf "Kapazitätsanzeige" durch den Schalter 7 umgeschaltet wird.

Ohne Ladebegrenzung ist es erforderlich, den Lagestrom auf einen vergleichsweise niedrigen Wert einzustellen, um die Akkus bei einer Dauerladung nicht zu beschädigen. Bei einer Lagezeitbegrenzung wird dies vermieden.
Gegebenenfalls kann noch eine Meßschaltung für den Lade- bzw. Entladezustand der Akkumulatoren vorgesehen sein, welche eine noch exaktere Steuerung der Ladezeit zuläßt.

Claims (8)

An electrical shaving apparatus having an integrated accumulator for power supply, a measuring device and electrically connected thereto a capacity display for indicating the capacity or charge of the accumulator, characterized in that the shaver (1) has in addition to the measuring device an electric clock serving to show the time and to control the charging process and that the measuring device and the clock are electrically connected to a digital display panel (2) provided for optional display of the time and the charge.
  2. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the digital display panel (2) takes the form of a liquid-crystal display.
  3. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that through the digital display panel (2) the measuring device gives a percentage indication of the respective capacity or charge of the power supply cells, 100% corresponding to the capacity or charge of the charged or not yet discharged power supply cells.
  4. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the display panel (2) takes the form of a flashing indication signal for the charging of the accumulator.
  5. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the display appears after actuation of a button actuator or similar switch provided specially for the digital display panel (2).
  6. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that an on/off appliance switch (7) is provided for the shaving drive of the shaving apparatus (1) and that in the "off" position of said switch the time is displayed and in the "on" position of said switch the capacity or charge is displayed on the digital display panel (2).
  7. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a button actuator or similar control switch is provided for the time display and that the time display appears on the digital display panel (2) only when said button actuator or the like is actuated.
  8. An electrical shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a selector switch is provided and when it is actuated the time display on the digital display panel (2) can be changed over into a display of the capacity and vice versa.
