Abstract
The invention provides a document display method and device based on thumbnails. The document display method based on the thumbnail comprises the following steps: acquiring the file type of a current active document, wherein the file type comprises Word, Excel and PPT; generating a thumbnail of the document file according to the file type of the document, wherein the size of the thumbnail is a preset size; and displaying the generated thumbnail of the document file and the detailed information of the document file in an application device window. The thumbnail-based document display equipment is used for executing the document display method provided by the invention. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, a plurality of documents are displayed in the same window in the form of file thumbnails, file names, file paths, storage time and file sizes, and a user can quickly find a file to be opened from a plurality of files of the same type by using the file thumbnails, so that the efficient management of the documents is realized, and the working efficiency is improved.

Background
With the rapid development of internet technology and the increasing popularization of computer applications, the application of multiple types and numbers of office documents is more and more extensive. Before a user opens or uses a certain document file, the user often needs to know attribute information such as a file name, a file type and the like of the document, and the document management method is involved.
At present, the presentation of a document in an application device window is usually in the form of file type + file name + file information. if the file type is PPT, acquiring a first page slide of the PPT document, and copying the first page slide of the PPT document in a picture form; establishing a picture file path, and acquiring and storing a first page slide picture file of the PPT document from a shear plate; and reducing the first page slide picture of the PPT document to a preset size to be used as a thumbnail of the PPT document file.
The document display method as described above, further, the detailed information of the document file includes a file name, a file path, a saving time, and a file size; the size of the thumbnail is a preset size, and is preset according to the size of the application equipment window, the number of documents and the requirement habit of a user.

If the file type is Excel, acquiring a workbook table of the Excel document, and copying the workbook table of the Excel document in a picture form; creating a picture file path, and acquiring and storing a workbook table picture file of the Excel document from a clipboard; and reducing the workbook table picture of the Excel document to a preset size to be used as a thumbnail of the Excel document file.
If the file type is PPT, acquiring a first page slide of the PPT document, and copying the first page slide of the PPT document in a picture form; establishing a picture file path, and acquiring and storing a first page slide picture file of the PPT document from a shear plate; and reducing the first page slide picture of the PPT document to a preset size to be used as a thumbnail of the PPT document file.
And S3, displaying the generated thumbnail of the document file and the detailed information of the document file in the application device window.
The detailed information of the document file in this step may include a file name, a file path, a saving time, a file size; the size of the thumbnail is a preset size, and is generally the size of the thumbnail preset according to the size of the application device window, the number of documents and the requirement habit of the user.
