The specific functions/steps of the present invention for pushing information for a user will be described in detail below.
Fig. 2 shows a device schematic of a push device for pushing information for a user according to an aspect of the invention.
The push device 1 comprises an acquisition device 201, a matching device 202 and a presentation device 203. The push apparatus 1 is located in a computer device, for example, which includes a user device and a network device. The following description will be made in detail by taking an example in which the push apparatus 1 is located in a network device.
Wherein the obtaining means 201 obtains the exit position of the user on the video after the user watches the video.
Specifically, the user opens and views a certain video by clicking, long-pressing, sliding, and the like, for example, the user selects one of the video links in the video list page provided to the user to click, opens the video to which the video link is linked, and views the video for a certain period of time. Subsequently, the user finishes his watching behavior and exits from the video, the obtaining apparatus 201 may obtain the exit location of the user on the video through interaction with the user equipment used by the user, such as one or more calls to an Application Program Interface (API) provided by the user equipment, for example, the user exits at the 5 th minute and 25 th second of the video, or the user exits before the start of watching the trailer, or the user does not exit until the video is watched, and the obtaining apparatus 201 may obtain the above different exit locations.
It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-mentioned manner of obtaining the exit position of the video is only an example, and other manners of obtaining the exit position of the video, which may be present or may occur in the future, such as being applicable to the present invention, should be included in the scope of the present invention, and are hereby incorporated by reference.
The matching device 202 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position.
Specifically, different exit positions of the video may correspond to scene information of the exit positions, and the scene information includes, but is not limited to, information of persons, articles, subjects, and the like in the video scene of the current video frame when the video exits. The matching device 202 identifies the video scene of the current video frame, obtains scene information therein, for example, identifies the image of the current video frame, obtains image characteristics, and further identifies characters, articles and other characteristics therein; or, identifying the characters in the current video frame; or the theme of the video scene is obtained according to the previous one or more video frames or the next one or more video frames; or further, the theme of the video scene is comprehensively obtained through audio identification or identification of information such as subtitles, barracks and comments. After the scene information is obtained, the matching device 102 matches corresponding push information according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video, for example, a character in the current video frame according to the exit position of the video, pushes information related to the character, such as character introduction, news, microblog link, and the like, or pushes information related to a function introduction, price, purchase link, and the like, according to an item in the current video frame.
For example, the user clicks that a certain video is opened and viewed, and after the user finishes viewing and exits the video, the acquisition means 201 acquires the exit position of the user on the video; the matching device 202 identifies a video scene of a current video frame when the user exits from the video, and obtains scene information therein, where if an actor in the scene is identified as a and a role played by the actor is identified as B, the matching device 202 obtains corresponding push information according to the scene information, for example, by performing matching search in a push information base, where the push information may be an introduction of the actor a, an advertisement of the actor a, an introduction of the role B, an advertisement related to the role B, and the like; alternatively, if the matching device 202 identifies that the scene information of the current video frame includes the item C, the matching device 202 may determine that the pushed information is an advertisement related to the item C; still alternatively, the matching device 202 identifies that the subject of the scene information of the current video frame is D, and the matching device 202 may determine that the pushed information is an advertisement related to the subject D accordingly.
Here, the database stores mapping relationships between various types of scene information and corresponding pieces of push information, and can be uploaded by various types of pushers who need to push information, and the database may be located in the push device 1, or may be located in a third-party device connected to the push device 1, and is maintained by the push device 1.
It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-mentioned method for matching the pushed information according to the context information is only an example, and other existing or future methods for matching the pushed information according to the context information, such as being applicable to the present invention, should be included in the scope of the present invention, and are hereby incorporated by reference.
Preferably, the matching device 202 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position and in combination with the video auxiliary information.
Specifically, after the user watches the video and quits, there may also be corresponding video auxiliary information, such as duration information of watching the video by the user, as in the foregoing example, the user may quit when watching the video for the 5 th minute and 25 seconds, or the user may quit until watching the video until the start of the trailer, or the user may quit until watching the complete video, and the matching device 202 may match different push information for the user according to different durations of the video watched by the user. For example, taking the push information as a video advertisement as an example, when the user exits after watching only 5 minutes and 25 seconds, which indicates that the user is less patience or the user is more likely to be a young person, the matching device 202 matches the user with a video advertisement with a shorter duration or matches the user with a video advertisement of a young person supply; if the user quits after completely watching the entire video, which indicates that the user is more patience or the user is more likely to be a senior, the matching device 202 matches the user with a video advertisement with a longer duration or matches the user with a video advertisement of a senior product.
The examples given herein are merely for better understanding of the present invention and should not be construed as limiting the present invention, and it should be understood by those skilled in the art that other methods for classifying or identifying users and determining push information for the same are also included in the scope of the present invention.
More preferably, the video auxiliary information comprises at least any one of:
information related to the video viewed by the user;
the duration information of the video watched by the user;
a historical viewing record of the user;
and the user operates the video.
Specifically, the related information of the video watched by the user includes, but is not limited to, various information such as a video topic, a total video duration, and a video publisher, and the matching device 202 matches corresponding push information for the user according to scene information corresponding to a quitting position of the user on the video and in combination with the related information of the video watched by the user. For example, the matching means 202 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to what the subject of the current video frame of the exit position is when the user exits the video and also comprehensively considers the subject of the whole video.
The duration information of the video watched by the user includes, but is not limited to, the duration of the video watched by the user, the percentage of the duration of the video watched by the user in the total duration of the video, and the like. For example, although the user clicks to exit at the 25 th minute of the video, he is actually fast-forwarding all the time, and the actual viewing time is only 5 minutes, the matching device 202 may match the corresponding push information for the user according to the actual viewing time of the user, and if the user is considered to be less patience, match a video advertisement with a length of only 5 seconds for the user.
The historical viewing record of the user may be obtained by calling cookies or other video logs, and the matching device 202 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video and also needs to combine the historical viewing record of the user. For example, when the user exits from a video, the topic of the current video frame of the exit position is X, the topics of the videos that the user has historically viewed are Y, Z, and the matching device 202 comprehensively considers the topics, such as matching the corresponding push information for the user according to the common point of the topics or the topic with the largest proportion among the topics.
The operation information of the user on the video includes, but is not limited to, information generated based on various operations of the user on comments, barrage or fast forwarding, forwarding and sharing of the video, and the like. For example, the user expresses his/her favorite product in the form of comment or pop-up screen, and the matching device 202 can match the advertisement of the favorite product for the user accordingly; alternatively, when the user shares the video with a destination such as a circle of friends or YouTube by means of forwarding sharing, the matching device 202 may determine the type of the user, such as whether the user is male or female, young or elderly, and further match the user with the corresponding push information according to the destination of forwarding sharing. For example, if the subject of a certain video is a makeup teaching video, and the user also forwards and shares the video to a certain female website, the matching device 202 may match the corresponding makeup advertisement for the user.
Further, the matching device 202 may comprehensively consider scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video and a combination of any of the above video auxiliary information to match corresponding push information for the user. The matching device 202 may adjust the ratio of the scene information or the above-mentioned various video auxiliary information during the matching process.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-described video auxiliary information is merely exemplary, and that other video auxiliary information, now known or later developed, such as may be suitable for use with the present invention, is also included within the scope of the present invention and is hereby incorporated by reference.
The presenting means 203 presents the push information to the user.
Specifically, after the matching device 202 matches the push information that is determined to be well pushed to the user, the presenting device 203 presents the push information to the user by an agreed manner, for example, in the form of a popup, a new tab, a new browser page, and the like on a video list page originally provided to the user.
Here, the matching device 202 may match a plurality of pieces of push information to be presented to the user, and the presenting device 203 may further randomly or sort out the push information that best meets the user requirement, or select one piece of push information according to other agreed rules to present to the user.
Preferably, the presentation device 203 presents the push information to the user at a position where a cover page of the video is originally presented in a video list page in a card flipping manner after the user exits the video.
Specifically, a plurality of video links may be included in a video list page provided to the user, and the plurality of video links may be presented, for example, by covers of respective corresponding videos, so that when the user clicks a cover of one of the videos, that is, clicks a video link corresponding to the video, the user can view the video immediately. Thereafter, if the user exits from the video being watched, the presenting device 203 presents the push information in a flipping manner at a position in the video list page where the video cover was originally presented, for example, in the form of an image, a text, or a video at the position, and presents the push information to the user.
More preferably, the pushing device 1 further comprises a presentation device (not shown). And the showing device continues to show the cover page of the video at the position of the cover page originally showing the video in the video list page in a card turning mode after the user quits the push information.
Specifically, after the aforementioned presentation device 203 presents the pushed information to the user, the user may also quit viewing the pushed information at any time, for example, the user may quit viewing the pushed information by long pressing, clicking, sliding, etc., and the presentation device still quits viewing the pushed information presented to the user in a turning manner, so that the front cover of the video is continuously presented at the position of the front cover of the originally presented video in the video list page provided to the user.
For example, the video list page provided for the user includes video I, II, and III links, which are presented in the form of a video cover, and the user clicks the cover of the video I to watch the video I and clicks to exit at the 10 th minute; the acquiring means 201 accordingly acquires the exit position; the matching device 202 matches the corresponding push information, such as a certain video advertisement, for the user accordingly; the presenting device 203 presents the video advertisement to the user at the position of the front cover where the video I was originally presented; then, the user clicks the video advertisement again, and the showing device replaces the position of the playing video advertisement with the cover of the video I; if the user continues to click the cover of the video I, the user can watch the video I again, and if the user only watches 1 minute and clicks again for quitting; the acquiring means 201 may continue to acquire the exit position of the user at this time; the matching device 202 matches the corresponding push information for the user again, and since the exit position of the user is different from the previous exit position, the scene information of the exit position may also be different, and the information such as the viewing duration is also different, the push information matched for the user by the matching device 202 may also be different, and the presentation form may also be different, for example, the matching device 202 matches a text advertisement for the user this time; the presentation device 203 continues to present the teletext advertisement … in the position where the cover of the video I was originally presented for cycles, and each device may cycle through its own operations in turn if the user repeats the above operations.
Preferably, the push device 1 further comprises determination means (not shown). The determining device determines the presentation form of the push information according to the watching characteristics of the video watched by the user; wherein, the presentation device 203 pushes the push information to the user according to the presentation form.
Specifically, when the user watches the video, certain watching characteristics exist, for example, the user has little patience when watching the video, and continuously fast forwards the video, or has patience, and the user does not quit the video until the end of playing the trailer, the determining device may acquire the watching characteristics of the user, where the watching characteristics include, but are not limited to, a watching time length for the user to watch the video, a fast-forwarding operation for the video, a frequent click pause, a percentage of the watching time length for watching the video to the total time length of the video, and the like, and the determining device determines in which presentation form the pushed information is presented to the user according to the watching characteristics; the presentation means 203 then pushes the push information to the user in the presentation form determined by the determination means.
For example, for an advertisement of the same product, if the user has little patience to fast forward all the time, the advertisement is presented to the user in a picture and text form; if the user is well-tolerated, the user is presented with a video advertisement. For another example, suppose that there are two video advertisements with different durations for the same product, if the user has little patience, the video advertisement with shorter duration is presented to the user, and if the user has patience, the video advertisement with longer duration is presented to the user.
More preferably, the presentation form of the push information includes at least any one of:
an image form;
the form of graphics and text;
a video form;
in text form.
For example, for the same product, it may respectively correspond to push information in different presentation forms in advance, and the determining device determines which presentation form of push information is adopted at all according to the viewing characteristics of the user viewing the video; the presentation means 203 then presents it to the user. Here, the different presentation forms may also include finer classifications, such as videos that may have different durations, images that may have different hues, and so on.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-described presentation of push information is merely exemplary, and that other existing or future presentations of push information, as may be suitable for use with the present invention, are also intended to be encompassed within the scope of the present invention and are hereby incorporated by reference.
FIG. 3 illustrates a flow diagram of a method for pushing information for a user in accordance with another aspect of the invention.
In step S301, the push apparatus 1 acquires, after the user views a video, an exit position of the user on the video.
Specifically, the user opens and views a certain video by clicking, long-pressing, sliding, and the like, for example, the user selects one of the video links in the video list page provided to the user to click, opens the video to which the video link is linked, and views the video for a certain period of time. Subsequently, the user ends his viewing behavior and exits from the video, in step S301, the push apparatus 1 may obtain the exit location of the user on the video through interaction with the user equipment used by the user, such as one or more calls to an Application Program Interface (API) provided by the user equipment, such as the user exits at the 5 th minute and 25 th second of the video, or the user exits before the beginning of the trailer, or the user does not exit until the user finishes viewing the video, and in step S301, the push apparatus 1 may obtain the above different exit locations.
In step S302, the pushing device 1 matches corresponding pushing information for the user according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position.
Specifically, different exit positions of the video may correspond to scene information of the exit positions, and the scene information includes, but is not limited to, information of persons, articles, subjects, and the like in the video scene of the current video frame when the video exits. In step S302, the pushing device 1 identifies the video scene of the current video frame, obtains scene information therein, for example, identifies the image of the current video frame, obtains image characteristics, and further identifies characteristics of people, articles, and the like therein; or, identifying the characters in the current video frame; or the theme of the video scene is obtained according to the previous one or more video frames or the next one or more video frames; or further, the theme of the video scene is comprehensively obtained through audio identification or identification of information such as subtitles, barracks and comments. After knowing the scene information, in step S302, the pushing device 1 matches corresponding pushing information according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video, for example, according to the character in the current video frame of the exit position of the video, pushes information related to the character, such as character introduction, news, microblog link, etc., or according to the item in the current video frame, pushes information related to the item, such as function introduction, price, purchase link, etc.
For example, after the user clicks and opens a certain video and watches the video, and finishes watching the video and exits the video, in step S301, the push apparatus 1 acquires the exit position of the user on the video; in step S302, the push device 1 identifies a video scene of a current video frame when the user exits from the video, and obtains scene information therein, where if an actor in the scene is identified as a and a role played by the actor is B, in step S302, the push device 1 obtains corresponding push information according to the scene information, for example, by performing matching search in a push information base, where the push information may be an introduction of the actor a, an advertisement of the actor a' S speech, an introduction of the role B, an advertisement related to the role B, and the like; alternatively, in step S302, if the pushing device 1 identifies that the scene information of the current video frame includes the item C, the pushing device 1 may determine that the pushing information is an advertisement related to the item C; still alternatively, in step S302, the push device 1 identifies that the topic of the scene information of the current video frame is D, and the push device 1 may determine that the push information is an advertisement related to the topic D accordingly.
Preferably, in step S302, the pushing device 1 matches corresponding pushing information for the user according to the scene information corresponding to the exit position and in combination with the video auxiliary information.
Specifically, after the user watches the video and quits, there may also be corresponding video auxiliary information, such as duration information of the user watching the video, as in the foregoing example, the user may quit when the user watches the video for the 5 th minute and 25 seconds, or the user may quit until the video is watched until the end of the movie begins, or the user may quit until the user watches the complete video, and in step S302, the pushing device 1 may match different pushing information for the user according to different durations of the video watched by the user. For example, taking the push information as a video advertisement as an example, when the user exits after watching only 5 minutes and 25 seconds, which indicates that the user is less patience or the user is more likely to be a young person, in step S302, the push device 1 matches the video advertisement with a shorter duration for the user or matches the video advertisement with a young person supply for the user; if the user quits after completely watching the entire video, which indicates that the user is more patience or the user is more likely to be a senior citizen, in step S302, the push device 1 matches the video advertisement with a longer duration for the user, or matches the video advertisement with the products of senior citizens for the user.
The examples given herein are merely for better understanding of the present invention and should not be construed as limiting the present invention, and it should be understood by those skilled in the art that other methods for classifying or identifying users and determining push information for the same are also included in the scope of the present invention.
More preferably, the video auxiliary information comprises at least any one of:
information related to the video viewed by the user;
the duration information of the video watched by the user;
a historical viewing record of the user;
and the user operates the video.
Specifically, the related information of the video watched by the user includes, but is not limited to, various information such as a video topic, a total video duration, a video publisher, and the like, and in step S302, the push device 1 matches corresponding push information for the user according to scene information corresponding to a quitting position of the user on the video and in combination with the related information of the video watched by the user. For example, in step S302, the push apparatus 1 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to what the topic of the current video frame of the exit position is when the user exits the video and also comprehensively considers the topic of the entire video.
The duration information of the video watched by the user includes, but is not limited to, the duration of the video watched by the user, the percentage of the duration of the video watched by the user in the total duration of the video, and the like. For example, although the user clicks to exit at the 25 th minute of the video, he is still fast forwarding, and the actual viewing time is only 5 minutes, in step S302, the pushing device 1 may match the corresponding pushing information for the user according to the actual viewing time of the user, and if the user is considered to be less patience, match a video advertisement with a length of only 5 seconds for the user.
In step S302, the push device 1 matches the corresponding push information for the user according to not only the scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video, but also the historical view record of the user. For example, when the user exits from a video, the topic of the current video frame of the exit position is X, the topics of the videos that the user has historically viewed are Y, Z, and so on, in step S302, the push apparatus 1 comprehensively considers the topics, such as the topics based on the common points of the topics or the topics with the largest proportion among the topics, to match the corresponding push information for the user.
The operation information of the user on the video includes, but is not limited to, information generated based on various operations of the user on comments, barrage or fast forwarding, forwarding and sharing of the video, and the like. For example, the user expresses his/her favorite product in the form of comment or pop-up screen, and in step S302, the pushing device 1 may match the advertisement of the favorite product for the user accordingly; alternatively, if the user shares the video with a destination such as a circle of friends or YouTube by means of forwarding sharing, the push apparatus 1 may determine the type of the user, such as whether the user is male or female, young or old, according to the destination of forwarding sharing, and further match the corresponding push information with the determined type of the user in step S302. For example, the subject of a certain video is a cosmetic teaching video, and the user also forwards and shares the video to a certain female website, in step S302, the push device 1 may match a corresponding cosmetic advertisement for the user.
Further, in step S302, the pushing apparatus 1 may comprehensively consider scene information corresponding to the exit position of the user on the video and a combination of any of the above video auxiliary information to match the corresponding pushing information for the user. In step S302, the pushing device 1 may adjust the ratio of the scene information or the above-mentioned various video auxiliary information during the matching process.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-described video auxiliary information is merely exemplary, and that other video auxiliary information, now known or later developed, such as may be suitable for use with the present invention, is also included within the scope of the present invention and is hereby incorporated by reference.
In step S303, the pushing apparatus 1 presents the pushing information to the user.
Specifically, after the push device 1 matches and determines the push information to be pushed to the user in step S302, in step S303, the push device 1 presents the push information to the user in an agreed manner, for example, in the form of a popup, a new tab, a new browser page, and the like on a video list page originally provided to the user.
Here, in step S302, the push device 1 may match a plurality of pieces of push information to be presented to the user, and in step S303, the push device 1 may further randomly or select the push information that best meets the user requirement, or select one piece of push information from the pieces of push information according to other agreed rules to present the selected piece of push information to the user.
Preferably, in step S303, after the user quits the video, the pushing device 1 presents the pushing information to the user in a turning manner at a position where a cover page of the video is originally presented in a video list page.
Thereafter, if the user quits the video being watched, in step S303, the pushing device 1 presents the pushing information in a turning manner at the position where the video cover page is originally presented in the video list page, for example, in the form of image, text, video, or the like at the position, and presents the pushing information to the user.
More preferably, the method further comprises step S304 (not shown). In step S304, the pushing device 1 continues to present the front cover of the video at the position where the front cover of the video was originally presented in the video list page in a card flipping manner after the user quits the pushing information.
Specifically, after the push device 1 presents the push information to the user in the foregoing step S203, the user may also quit viewing the push information at any time, for example, the user may quit the push information by long pressing, clicking, sliding, and the like, and then in step S304, the push device 1 still quits the push information presented to the user in a card flipping manner, so that the front cover of the video is continuously presented at the position where the front cover of the video was originally presented in the video list page provided to the user.
For example, the video list page provided for the user includes video I, II, and III links, which are presented in the form of a video cover, and the user clicks the cover of the video I to watch the video I and clicks to exit at the 10 th minute; in step S301, the push apparatus 1 accordingly acquires the exit position; in step S302, the push apparatus 1 matches the corresponding push information, such as a certain video advertisement, for the user accordingly; in step S303, the pushing device 1 presents the video advertisement to the user at the position of the front cover that originally exhibited the video I; subsequently, the user clicks the video advertisement again, and in step S304, the pushing device 1 replaces the cover page of the video I with the position of the video advertisement; if the user continues to click the cover of the video I, the user can watch the video I again, and if the user only watches 1 minute and clicks again for quitting; in step S301, the pushing device 1 may continue to acquire the exit position of the user at this time; in step S302, the push device 1 matches the corresponding push information for the user again, and since the exit position of the user is different from the previous exit position, the scene information of the exit position may also be different, and the information such as the viewing duration is also different, in step S302, the push information matched for the user by the push device 1 may also be different, and the presentation form thereof may also be different, for example, the push device 1 matches a text advertisement for the user this time; in step S303, the pushing device 1 continues to present the teletext advertisement … at the position where the cover page of the video I was originally presented, and the pushing device 1 may cycle through the above steps if the user repeats the above operations.
Preferably, the method further comprises step S305 (not shown). In step S305, the push apparatus 1 determines a presentation form of the push information according to the viewing characteristics of the user viewing the video; in step S303, the pushing device 1 pushes the pushing information to the user according to the presentation form.
Specifically, when the user watches the video, certain watching features exist, for example, the user has little patience when watching the video, and continuously fast forwards the video, or has patience, and the user does not quit the video until the end of playing the trailer, in step S305, the push apparatus 1 may obtain the watching features of the user, where the watching features include, but are not limited to, a watching duration of the user watching the video, a fast forwarding operation on the video, a frequent click pause, a percentage of the watching duration of the watching video to the total duration of the video, and the like, and in step S305, the push apparatus 1 determines, according to the watching features, in which presentation form the push information is presented to the user; subsequently in step S303, the push apparatus 1 pushes the push information to the user according to the presentation form determined in step S305.
More preferably, the presentation form of the push information includes at least any one of:
an image form;
the form of graphics and text;
a video form;
in text form.
For example, for the same product, it may correspond to push information in different presentation forms in advance, and in step S305, the push device 1 determines which presentation form push information is adopted according to the viewing characteristics of the user viewing the video; subsequently, in step S303, the push device 1 presents it to the user again.
